SOS swarm
You may have witnessed one of nature's most beautiful phenomena: a swarm of bees has landed near you, or even in your home! In spring, colonies grow, and if they run out of space, some decide to try their luck finding a new home. This is called swarming.
Tens of thousands of bees set off on an adventure with the old queen, in an impressive but not aggressive cloud. They then quickly land on a tree, under a balcony, or sometimes even on street furniture. There, they form a cluster and send out scouts to find a new place to build a nest. If you witness such beauty...
Don't wait to contact us!
Indeed, the swarm won't stay long, a few hours, one or two nights at most. It's therefore important that we come as soon as possible to retrieve it, as its chances of survival are quite slim. It will be difficult for it to find a sufficiently sheltered place to spend the winter. Not to mention that this place can be a bit tricky, such as in a false ceiling, a blind box, or the space between a window and a shutter.
If the swarm has already settled in and started building a nest, call us anyway, and we'll do everything we can to try to retrieve it.

It is also useful to take photos so that we can assess the situation and the options for recovering it as best as possible.
Thank you for caring about bees! 🐝💗
